Why we give
Giving is a core value of Milledge Avenue Baptist Church. Our giving of monies, prayers, and work support Christ's mission, evangelism, education, and discipleship. Your tithes, offerings and the sharing of your time and talents are vital to our ministry. MABC encourages you to give cheerfully. Your generosity is a reminder of God's greatest gift - the gift of eternal life.
If you're interested in giving of your time and talents, please contact the church office. We have several opportunities available with our missions and ministries. Your generous offerings help support the work of our mission partners, including Family Promise of Athens, The Ark, Food-2-Kids, Our Daily Bread, and Bethlehem Ministry (humanitarian work in Haiti). Periodic statements and year-end contribution statements will be sent to you by mail as a record of your giving.
Ways to give
On Sundays, you may place a check or cash in the offering plate.
Use the pew envelopes or request a booklet of envelopes from the church office.
Mail your gift to our P.O. box or drop it off in person at the church office.
